If the law is changed. All dates will be current. if it's not changed your date from 2005 means squat. There are abt 200K ppl in the line ahead of you.. no way you are getting anything this life.. maybe you can leave your PD in inheritance to your kid born in India :)
So your GC process shouldn't be a factor.. you got great offer.. leave..!
Go for the better job... Nobody knows what's going to happen. I wish I had done that 3 years ago. :(
This is especially true considering the uncertain, erratic nature of U.S. immigration. The only thing you can do is to grap whatever is "certain" to you right now. Otherwise, you may get stuck with a bad job, a bad company, a bad boss and still not getting your green card, either because of the backlog or unforeseen lay-off. At that time, you will realize you have got nothing... That feeling really sucks!!!

Gurus,
USCIS is suppose to give decision in 15 business after filling I140 in premium processing ( or converting existing I140 application to premium processing).
I have seen several person mentioning that they not only got their I140 decision but they got their I-485 expedited too after converting I140 to premium processing ? Is this true...... My I140/I485 was filled at NSC in June 2006...and I have not recieved any decision for my I140 yet....Is it worthwhile to convert my I140 to premium processing ... I am sure I will get my I140 decision in 15 business days but will it expediete my I485 case too after position decision of I140.... Please provide your thoughts...

Congratulations!!!
My 2 cents....explain situation to your wife's new employer and wait for 2 weeks your wife should have physical card with in 2 weeks. If it is emergency you can use H1/EAD as you have not received anything in written from USCIS.

Why is this good news? Jan 8, 2003 and May 8, 2001 are not good news to me at least.
Greg has picked this from ..

Can we get an appointment with the President and explain the problems faced by EB immigrants
Since the 43rd is counting weeks now, may be, one might want talk to all of the three 44-wannabes to extract a promise/create awareness in them and to prime them in advance.

I did my three years diploma (polytechnic) and three years engineering degree (B.E.) after that and I had @ eight years of experience while I had applied for GC through EB2 category. I had no problem in getting my I-140 approval; so far I have not received single rfe.
Hi,
Can you send me your Credentials Evaluator. I am also in the same boat 3 year diploma with 3 Year Engineering Degree.
Thanks,

Chalk this up to user error. Not sure exactly wat I did but I reset the camera and now it is working like I would expect. Like I said...I was new to SLR :D
Thqnks for the reply...whats interesting is today I called 2 different camera places by me and pretended I was interested in the same kit I have and BOTH told me that the 70s camera body supports the sigma lens' I have - In fact they were putting together a package that included the very seme lens'
Im new to digital SLR's ...but I would think based on this info I have a bad camera body
