Have you printed out the name of the file that was selected to make sure that that part is working? It seems like you've only done a minimal amount of debugging to determine the nature of the problem, so I would recommend starting with that.

I feel a little bit relieved now.
I read now about Direct Filing....and I understood that if you apply after july 30...you can send the application either to Nebraska or Texas. Hopefully I'm right in this matter.

Question.
When I check the website I see this Step 4:
Does this mean that I first need to pass the documents to the application centre and only then after 3 days can I go to the embassy?
Can't I just get the date and go to the embassy direct?

I saw similar set of replies for a woman who sought help regarding her status for entering the country without passport from Canada (which was legal pre 9/11) and then divorcing the dude she was married to. Some righteous pricks called her names and gave red dots generously.
Seriously if you don't have constructive advise just keep your mouth shut. Nobody needs you to bring your vigilantism and judgement ion other people. A few too many pricks are the reason a lot of us get turned off of this site.

I am proud of my 4 year old girl. She has written a letter to the President. When a 4 year old can write , we have 25k adult members and only about 500 of them have sent letters! Why ?

Just add this word document, and send a email to your work email address with the word document attached. when you see this email at work, just print 2 copies of the attachment, thats all you have to do.

Few months back, I used AC21 to move from my previous employer to current. Before doing that I contacted a senior attorney at murthy law firm with all my questions. You can take such an appointment with murthy law firm or other major law firms and ask your questions.
In my case, both titles are different: it changed somewhere from Programmer to Project Leader. Title does not matter. The job description should be similar and the job should fall into the same occupational classification - it need not be the exact same job code. As classification is very broad, you have the option of pretty wide job changing possibilities under the same classification. We can even take promotions using AC21, if the job classification is same.
So, please don't become a victim of those folks who advice you based on limited knowledge. Contact a reputed attorney for the right information. For me it costed $200 for a 20 minute appointment with a senior attorney at Murthy law firm.

You can travel with old visa and new approval i797. I have traveled with these documents and no problem at POE. No need to get new stamping.
You cannot travel with old visa and only receipt of H1 transfer because when you apply a petition you have to be in the country till it is approved. If you travel, some lawyers are of the opinion that the application gets invalidated.
I was in such a situation and I used premium processing and went with the new I-797.
Hope this helps. Also consult your lawyer if you decide to go with the receipt notice only.
